1 Rewarding Agricultural Machinery Sales Position.
The Position:

We are recruiting for a motivated sales professional, with farming experience / knowledge, to account manage areas of our Case IH area of responsibility which covers an arc from Honiton in the West to Lymington in the East and the surrounding areas of Shaftesbury.

The Role:
This is an exciting and challenging role and an ideal opportunity for someone to build a successful territory, that will provide an open ended earning opportunity for many years to come.
Owing to the nature of the business, it is not a 9 to 5 position, our customers range from small farms to large managed farms. Sometimes they can only see you outside of “normal” hours.
One day you will be talking to an owner/operator and the next the manager of a multi acre arable farm. As you can appreciate, sometimes the only time you can see some of these customers is outside normal working hours.
You will be tasked with promoting GCS Agricentre and our main franchises, which include: Case IH, Manitou, HiSpec, Pottinger, RS Agri, Bomford Turner, and McHale.
You will ideally have relevant sales experience and understand the needs of our customers along with the importance of working an area through account and territory management.
However, we will consider someone who can demonstrate an understanding of farming.
Our business is success and target driven, you’ll be set targets to achieve for monetary and unit sales; both monthly and annually.
Our tractor franchise, Case IH, require all sales people to use the manufacturer’s CRM to record customer and demonstration activity, knowledge of a CRM and NPS is desirable. However, full training will be provided for the right candidate.
GCS Agricentre have depots at Shaftesbury and will soon be moving from the existing Dorchester to a purpose built unit on the A37 between Dorchester and Yeovil.

GCS Agricentre was started when Bredy Agri ceased trading in 2014. The existing site was purchased and the majority of the staff were employed to keep supporting local farmers with the Case IH product. We are currently operating from depots in Shaftesbury and Dorchester and cover a sales area from Honiton in the west to Lymington in the east.
We are re-locating to a purpose built unit on the A37 next to the George Albert Hotel, approximately 10 miles north of Dorchester. This will take the business development and succession of GCS Agricentre forward for the future generations of the family, some of who are currently involved with the business.
As a company, we will provide you with everything you need to successfully the role. This will include a Company Vehicle, iPhone, Lap Top and manufacturer training when applicable courses run.
We run a team of factory trained engineers who provide service and repair to our customers either on farm or in the service departments of the depot. Case IH (CNH group) have recently purchased Raven industries; this will give our tractors some of the most advanced farming solutions available. This will be alongside the telematics available on the AFS Connect tractors.
